God's Monitor

I dropped into the Apple store today, which is quite a strange place. If you walk into the back you'd be hard-pressed to convince someone that it's a computer store -- whole sections are given over to the Ipod and its accessories. But there are still quite a few computer items, including...

God's Monitor!

This monitor was the sort of thing God must use to run the world. It was huge -- at least three feet wide and maybe two feet tall! I have a 19 inch monitor and it must have been two of them side by side at least. And the picture was very nice as well. But the sheer size was what grabbed me.

The funniest thing was that the computer price tag was $3499, which is only a couple hundred bucks more than the most expensive computer I've bought. I could have bought this bad boy a few years ago (ok, maybe 10) if I hadn't had kids, and gotten married (two different problems.) Hmm... I hear the Megamillions is way up.
