A day off
It's amazing to think that today (MLK day) is what all our weekends were like before we had the Two Girls. Having a day at home without having to take care of the kids seems like a vacation, whereas before we took it entirely for granted.
We have completed a total toy rotation, which we have to do from time to time, or we'll be buried in toys. Also moved a bunch of junk out to the garage. Any vertical surface in our house acquires junk -- ours happens to be organized junk, so we had a pile of garage stuff.
Dora continues to amaze us with her computer skills. She can type on the keyboard, and she can play games with the mouse. She understands how to move the cursor and click on things. The only part of mousing she has trouble with is what to do when the mouse runs out of room. If she learns how to read, Margrethe has pointed out, she'll be ready to enter the workforce.
