Happy Halloween

Our first real Halloween went very well, I'm glad to report. Dora had a costume, Dora the Explorer of course, and she did about two blocks worth of trick-or-treating with her Mommy. She was a bit shy at first, but quickly warmed up to the idea. Julia didn't care for her lamb costume (which was much too large) so we took a couple pictures and got her out of it.

We got a decent number of kids by the house, although as always we bought too much candy. No real slacker teenagers either, which is nice. I can't quite recall how old I was when I stopped trick-or-treating, but I was far too old, I think.

Dora is so cute in her costume! :)

We only had a few groups of kids -- all the ones I recoganized from the immediate neighborhood. We then turned out the lights and went downstairs to watch a movie.

My last year of trick-or-treating was my freshman year in high school. Pathetic, I know, but I hate to pass up anything that's free.
